If you see this bike floating around...

Don't know the guy personally but I always see him post on LAFixed and he seems like a cool, knowledgeable guy... every bike owner's nightmare. Especially when you can't even get the bike in the US! Hit him up if you see it around craigslist or anywhere...

Easton EC90 cranks.

I'm currently still riding this bike. It's been 3 years now, if not more...This is my first bike and it's still treating me well haha. I currently installed new cranks to try them out. They're the Easton EC90 cranks. They are so god damn stiff, I didn't know I would actually feel the difference.

Before these cranks, I was riding Campagnolo Record and they were pretty damn good. I was able to tell the difference between the Record and the Ultegra I used before Campy.

The bottom bracket bearing was so much faster and smoother, I felt like I wasn't doing anything at all when I started pedaling.

The Easton EC90 cranks, however, felt a little more responsive. They are stiff as shit! I wish I couldn't feel the difference, but I could and it's weird as fuck. They are definitely lighter than Record and the bottom bracket's got ceramic bearings so they spin just as good, if not, better than Campagnolo's bb. I'm pretty happy with it and I can't wait to get back on the bike!

I tested the cranks as soon as I put them on(3 weeks ago). I'm not sure if it's just me, but I feel faster for some reason. I tried sprinting in them, giving it all I can up that hill and there's just no drag at all. All that power went straight to the wheel and there goes my bike, leaving me behind. These cranks put the Record to shame. Some of you know how much I weigh. I'm not very big, but for some reason...I can feel the difference. The Record cranks are definitely not as stiff as this. Not to mention, they are also "aero."

If you want something stiff and light...These are the cranks for you. IMO.

Took the new kits out for their first long distance ride today. They worked great as expected, and definitely made some roadies turn heads.

Rapha Gentlemen's Race

I want to put on an event/race like this. I think it would be really fun if organized enought! Anyone care to help me plan? I know we could probably get some good sponsors too!

2010 Giant TCR Advanced 2

After much contemplation with which bike to get, why I should get it, and if I'm really going to try and attempt to race next season, I finally decided on Giant's TCR Advanced 2 (Ultegra groupo). I'm really pleased with the decision after the helpful dudes at the Freewheel bike shop helped me out a bit. They were right with the new Ultegra components. According to them, it all pretty much feels like the DA stuff! It's definitely light, very stiff, and I really like the responsiveness and handling of the bike. It's currently bone stock, but I will probably make some upgrades within the next coming weeks/months. It would be nice to get a fresh wheelset too. Anyone selling their zipp or reynolds wheelset for a decent price? (My birthday is coming up =) )

ATTENTION: Brett, Jonathan R, Davis, and whomever else is down, let's do this for next season!!
