Good times all in all. I had a great time with Saskia, Critter, and some other friends watching the crit races around Levi Strauss Plaza. The elite cat 1/2 race was intense. After the first 3 laps (out of 55 laps), there were 2 riders that broke away and stayed away the WHOLE time! Only on the final lap did they get caught by one rider, but in the end one of the leaders still held on to take the win. Super fun to watch. Couldn't think of a better way to spend my "labor day". Surprisingly good burgers after at the Ferry Building. Maybe they tasted better than usual because of the alcohol that was consumed =).
